Outrigger Canoeing
The Shuswap Association for Rowing and Paddling is the proud owner of two 41 ft. 6 man outrigger canoes. This is a sport that appeals to the younger members of our club but is equally exciting for the “young at heart”. The canoes are used for recreational paddling, marathon canoeing and sprint racing. We offer set times for fixed teams to practise and as well as drop-in sessions twice weekly. Like our other programs, we conduct training workshops and clinics throughout the year.
