Shuswap International Outrigger Race Weekend
To All Paddlers; We are pleases to announce our Second annual “Survive the Triangle”, Shuswap International Outrigger Race Weekend at Marine Park Wharf on the beautiful Shuswap Lake at Salmon Arm, BC the weekend of June 23th, 2012. An added attraction to this event is that the Salmon Arm Dragon Boat Festival is also taking place at Marine Park this same weekend so there will be lots of DB races to watch and people to meet when you are not busy paddling in a race or cheering your fellow paddlers on.There will be venders and live entertainment during the day. This event will be held over three days with registration only on Friday June 22th at Marine Park, (initial registration will be taken via email so if you are travelling on Friday and may not get in till late there will be an opportunity to register early Saturday as well. This is a CORA sanctioned event so all racers must be a CORA member before participating in any of the race events. If this is your first race of the season and you have not yet registered with CORA, you will be able to do so when registering for your races.
