The Outrigger canoe races in Salmon Arm took a break in 2016 and volunteered to ensure our club had a successful dragon boat festival. It worked and we were also able to grow the outrigger membership to its highest number since we began. We caught our breath, loved our early mornings and evenings on Shuswap Lake and several of us had a great time at the Gibson’s CORA Cup finale. 2017 season is in development and we are all looking forward to an exciting year ahead.
